  • 30 day suspension of driver’s license (afterwards restricted license for 330 days)
  • Possible impoundment of vehicle for 1 year
  • points added to driving record
  • 6 months imprisonment
  • Fines of $500
  • Suspension of driver’s license for 90 days
  • alcohol and drug safety action program
  •  You have 15 days from date you receive notice of suspension to request hearing for reinstatement of license.

 

Second Offense

  • 90 days imprisonment
  • alcohol and drug safety action program required by court AND  treatment expense (paid by you)
  • Fines of $1000-$1,500 plus court costs, fees associated with probation and evaluation
  • 1 year suspension of driver’s license and afterwards 1 year restricted driving with ignition interlock device installed into vehicle
  • Possible impoundment of vehicle for 1 year
  • points added to driving record
  • 1 year imprisonment
  • Fines of $1000
  • Revocation of license for 1 year
  • Denial of license for 5 years if within 5 years
  • Installation of ignition interlock device into vehicle

  • Automatic 30 day suspension of driver’s license if BAC of 0.02% or ↑
  • afterwards restricted license for 330 days
  • license suspension of  1 year for second or additional offense
  • Similar for first offense. 
  • For second offense 90 day suspension
  • Subsequent is 1 year revocation
